“Physical Literacy – Behind the Mask: Inclusion for All”
Physical literacy goes beyond what is taught in the classroom. It stems from motivation and physical competence to understand the essential movements that keep us engaged and active for life.
An annual Ontario Physical Literacy Summit is designed bring together parents, teachers, coaches, instructors and program providers for a two-day information exchange aimed at enhancing knowledge and skills and building capacity.
This year’s 8th annual Ontario Physical Literacy Summit will be held virtually on October 26 & 27, 2021 via Zoom.
“The summit theme, ‘Physical Literacy – Behind the Mask: Inclusion for All’ celebrates our diverse cultural richness with respect to activity, sport and health, recognizing the endless possibilities available to us and how we can all learn from our diverse backgrounds and journeys,” says Summit Co-chair Lucia Marchionda.
