Principal's Welcome Message
"We become what we love and who we love shapes what we become. If we love things, we become a thing. If we love nothing, we become nothing. Imitation is not a literal mimicking of Christ, rather it means becoming the image of the beloved, an image disclosed through transformation. This means we are to become vessels of God´s compassionate love for others. "
--St. Clare of Assisi
It is my honour to be principal of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Elementary School. As principal, I am committed to working as a team, with the staff, the parents and the students. The relationship with the school, home and parish are key to our success. We will build a solid foundation based on the teachings of our faith and we committ to creating life-long learners. In our pursuit of excellence, in a tradition of celebrating the uniqueness of each student, we recognize the philosophy of Each Belongs which speaks to the opportunity of each child to reach their full potential in which Jesus Christ is our role model. We are a Restorative Practice school and embrace forgiveness.
We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful Parish team and Pastor to support St. Clare of Assisi School. Father Martin Valley and the Parish team are a part of the school team and guide us all to delve deeper into our Faith and live the Gospel values.
We pride ourselves on being a small school with a big heart striving to reach each child and continually build in the area of academics, social skills, spiritual life and team committments.
I look forward to working with the highly motivated staff, the supportive parents, the Catholic School Council and Student Council and the Parish Team. Visit our website to be informed about events in the School and in the Parish.
"Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16
May God Bless you and keep you safe,
